Hey Jakey,
Busy, busy, busy! It's spring, almost, or trying to be spring. Okay, face it, it's winter still, with occasional bursts of spring-like days. Take today, for instance. It's well up in the 60's today. But we're under severe winter weather watch for tomorrow night. Snow snow and more snow. I can't believe it. As much as I love snow and cold weather, you'd think I'd be as happy as a clam. But of course, I'm trying to get the garden going THIS year, so we probably won't even get a summer this time around, just to spite me.
It was a great evening for a walk though. We haven't done that in so long. Everyone and their dog was out enjoying the sunshine. Here's what we saw on our way to and from the park:
* A girl sitting on the steps playing a flute
* A guy out in the middle of the street learning how to ride a unicycle, we told him how well he was coming along
* An old man sitting in a rocker in his garage, he waved at us
* I showed you how to blow the seeds off of a dandelion
* A mom on a bike and her 3 kids, she said "Hello, baby!"
Change is everywhere, baby. Winter's slowly turning into spring. You're quickly turning into a big boy. You've got four new teeth!
I'm making another sideways move at work, from working on the entertainment section of the paper, to working on the entertainment section of the paper's internet presence. Whatever. We'll see. I'm ready to do something different.
I'm also about one email away from chucking my other job with the quarterly magazine also. The publisher and I are tussling about money. She just doesn't know how to run her business. She loses money because of soft business practices, with clients AND with her salespeople, and then she tries to make it up by stiffing ME. Oh, I should've known two years ago, when she was late paying me because she didn't have as much left over from her $7000 boob job as she thought she would. Why oh why do I get into these situations?
Daddy's on another kick. He's looking for gainful employment once again. When I ask, what are we going to do with YOU, there's never a good answer. "We'll see how it goes." or "Gramma will come out for a couple weeks till we figure it out."
Well, we've got to take walks more often. I'll check in with you later. Love ya!

hey wow mom he is going to love this but probably not until he's our age. Its the coolest little diary and written to him before he's even aware of what he's doing. Almost as if this blog feels the purpose of memories that most of us don't get to experience.
