Hey Jakey,

Thanks to a surplus of money in the state of Nevada, I got a tax rebate check in the mail today, to the tune of $275!!! Whoo-hooo! I love my state government. Kenny Guinn gets my vote next time around. Yes, I am one of the simplistic dolts who can be soothed into complete complicity with a paltry sum of cash. Maybe the $300 million surplus could've been used on improving Nevada's crappy schools. Or cleaning up crime. Or improving the clarity of Lake Tahoe.

Screw that! I got mine!

What to do, what to do... be good and pay some bills, or blow it on an Ipod Nano. Grrrrr... [brain working furiously...]

We went to the pumpkin patch at Corley Ranch today. I don't know if any of us had a good time or not. It was mediocre, it was hot, you were cranky, and it cost six bux per adult just to get in. I miss the pumpkin patches by the ocean on Hwy 1.
