Hey Jakey,

I watched a spot on Good Morning America this morning on conspicuous consumption, the acquisition of useless things, the driving need of people, particularly Americans, to buy STUFF. I groaned as I watched it, rolled my eyes, clearly identified myself in the fluff piece's accusatory spotlight, then vowed to be a better person.

Then, I got to work this morning, saw this, and promptly whipped out my credit card and acquired it for myself. You see, this is a Dwight Schrute bobble-head. I NEED this. This is not an instance of "wanting" something. I CLEARLY NEED THIS, and will die without it.

Too urpy to blog about the weekend I found out I was pregnant. Haven't uploaded your Easter weekend photos yet, so can't blog about that. There's just not enough time in the day. I keep sleeping.

One good thing about a far-off May 10 appointment with Dr. K, though. That's 20 days that I have to start treating my body like a temple, instead of the pit toilet that I usually treat it like. Maybe I can fool Dr. K into thinking I'm healthy. Or not.

Love you!

PS: My new favorite Google search term that brought somebody to my blog:

"price of a ton of hay in Gardnerville March 2006"
