Hey Jakey,

Three days now with the Unisom/B6 combo and I'm feeling pretty good. Good enough, in fact, that I went out last night with C and we had dinner at Yoshimi. Yoshimi is the best sushi in the area, hands down.

Up top, that's a blurry C on the left, in the middle is my unagi, my favorite sushi of all, and then on the right, that's Alvin, the finest sushi chef in the land, and an all-around nice guy. Actually, my favorite sushi of all time is saba, or mackerel, which is served raw, but is of course verboten while PG. Damn. And it really looked fresh and inviting last night, too. Alvin serves up a mean "Rock 'n' Roll", which is unagi and avocado, and his shrimp tempura roll is mighty tasty, too. Oh, and the vegetable tempura roll and the spicy tuna roll and... Jeez. If I could eat sushi every day of my life, I'd be a happy person.

Afterwards, on the way home, even had enough oomph to stop off at Borders for awhile. Picked up this new book, illustrated in part by the talented artist Cindy, who also happens to be a very good friend of mine. Yay for Cindy! Also picked up a book about bugs for you, and a slew of magazines for myself.

Drove thru Starbux after that, and drove the rest of the way home with the windows down. It's finally spring, and the desert smelled sage-y and green, and the iced grande decaf soy mocha tasted particularly icy and mocha-y, and life was good. Altogether, a lovely evening.

I'm entering my citrus phase.

I've been PG three times now, and each time I've had a citrus phase. I remember the first time, standing over the kitchen sink in the Santa Cruz house, in the middle of the night, eating seven oranges. Last time, PG with you, dear heart, I lived on oranges and grapefruit for days without number. This week, it begins again. An entire jar of grapefruit sections tonight, and lemons. Lotsa lemons. Sucking on lemons, lemons in my water, in my tea, on my food. In fact, I want one now. My mouth is watering for one.

I had a list of things to do today:

-- Clean my bathroom
-- Pot some tomatoes
-- Move all my CDs out to the garage, now that they're all in iTunes
-- Light grocery shopping
-- Make trip to the dump
-- Take a walk to the park
-- Tweeze, wax, shave away any and all extra hair on my body

One guess as to what ONE item on my list got done today. Here's a hint: the fridge is empty, I've got a garage full of smelly garbage and my bathroom is a wreck, BUT I'm silky smooth allllllll over. Ahhhhh. I feel like a new woman. Oh well, there's always tomorrow to do chores.

I *can* tell, though, towards the end of the day that the Unisom thingy starts to wear off. AND that it takes more of an effort than it usually does to get up in the morning. Duh, hello... UNISOM.

All right, off to satiate my lemon fix. Sleep tight, stinky boy.
