Hey Wavy,

Just a few minutes left to say Happy Birthday to momma. It's been a hectic day. My desk at work was jauntily decorated, I got to wear the office "birthday hat," I got cake and the Happy Birthday song no less than THREE different times. True story. Tiramisu and singing at lunch with teh boss at a fancy Italian joynt, carrot cake and singing with office mates back at the office, chocolate cake and singing with you, your brother, daddy and the in-laws.

Casino Royale DVD, a $75 starbux card, a $30 starbux card, dinner out and a movie with your daddy. Not bad.

There are many depths to plumb if you want to talk about how disturbed I am that I'm living my final year as a thirtysomething. I'll just leave it alone for now.

Daddy's parents were here for a couple of days. What an ordeal to get them here. I don't want to talk smack about your grandparents, sweetie, but I think they're both slowly going insane.
