Hey Jakey,
I don't think I've done as many useless meetings in all my life as I have this past month. For the most part, I don't mind, as it gets me out of the office for most of, if not all, day.
Another meeting down in the Carson office this morning. When it was over and everyone sauntered out, I snapped a pic of this sad, little, shrink-wrapped carrot cake. I wish you could see the brand name: Sysco. Yummmmm... Nothing says "fresh from Grandma's oven" like SYSCO. It makes me think that there are perhaps crates of these carrot cakes on a pallet down in the storeroom. The office manager pulls one down and blows the dust off of it, then sets it out with a pot of Costco coffee.
Afterwards, lunch with K(C) at a place called Thai Spice Kitchen. Somewhat tasty. I would eat there again. I had the Hawaiian Curry Shrimp lunch special with a Thai iced tea. During lunch, I told K(C) that I do indeed inhabit the blogosphere, and that since I bitch about work so much in my blog, I wouldn't tell him where it resides. He's a smart man, though, so he could probably find it if he put half a mind to it. So, K, if you do find this, work is swell, no complaints here, smooches, smooches!
I came home tonight and you was ELECTRIFIED! Daddy had set you up with the Line 6 in the living room, and you were strumming away, Lefty, then fiddling with the knobs, then strumming some more. I don't know why I found that so funny.
I'm pinning all my failed hopes and dreams on YOU, baby. If I can't be a rock star, then it's up to you. To live the life of excess and decadence, to be idolized as a poet and a demi-god. To have your very own... tour bus!
And with this post, we say goodbye to Johnny, as he drops off the bottom of the page. Johnny, we hardly knew ye... Much love, and see ya in the secret archives. Next up, Jay will drop off into the abyss. I might just have to put a link in the sidebar for that post, it's my favorite of all my non-Jakey ramblings of all time.
Keep dreamin' your supah rock star dreams, sweetie! Love you!

Served out of the box no less! Classy!
If he does become a rock star those pictures will be worth something one day!
Yes, nothing but the finest cuisine for us worker-bees! And the photos, they'll make a great collage for the VH1 Behind the Music show in his future...
The information here is great. I will invite my friends here.
Thanks
