Hey Jakey,
Three industrial-sized bags of mini-chocolate bars from Costco, plus two smaller bags of Now & Laters and Laffy Taffys. The weather was sublime. I got out of work a little early. I was ready. Ready for lots of candy-greedy kids that never showed. Oh, I managed to unload a bag and a half of the choco, but the last t&t'er showed up around 8-ish, and that was it. I swear, the most t&t'ers we ever got was that year we had the blizzard. Go figger. I'm stuffed full of Reese's cups right now, but the rest is going to work with me tomorrow for the kids in the office.
You were little Nemo tonight. Daddy and I couldn't get ONE photo of you where you weren't looking absolutely miserable. Or a shot of you with the damned headpiece on. You hate having ANYthing on top of your head. You actually did have a good time tonight, I think. Every time someone came to the door, you tried to follow them back out to the street, waving and shouting at them the entire way. Hopefully daddy will try and get some more appropriate shots of you tomorrow in the daylight. Try and cheer up a little, baby!
Here are the punkins. I did two, your daddy did two. Can you tell who's are who's:
Ugh, time change yesterday. The older I get, the more difficult the time changes seem to be. I have no idea what time it really is for about two weeks, cuz I'm still worrying about what time it "oughta be." I don't know if I should be "more tired" or "more refreshed," and mostly opt for just dead tired. Time changes are anachronistic and utterly useless.
You're full of Hershey's and tater tots, and you crashed pretty hard tonight. I'm full of Reese's and the last of the Graham's port, so I suspect I will be crashing hard pretty soon also. Love you, sleep well!
Tomorrow, we shall talk about your developing case of OCD (note meticulously stacked blocks in background):
