The chocolate-covered marshmallows were gone in like... 60 seconds

Hey kids,

I'm looking at the last post and thinking it can't possibly be that long since I blogged. I promise, I blog in my head every single day. Sometimes I even jot down notes about certain things that happen that may or may not be bloggable. But at the end of the day, everything lately seems to be the latter. Not bloggable, that is. Or supremely uninteresting.

Baby cut a tooth yesterday. Finally. After months of threatening, a razor-sharp little chunk of white finally erupted from your bottom gum. Ouch for you, and ouch for me. You want nothing more than to hone it on my nipple. Or more precisely... you like to clamp down, and slowly, excruciatingly, pull back, then let go, with a grunt and a grin.

Your Auntie Breann is the queen of Care Packages, and I can only aspire to her creativity and delightful randomness. Wavy is pictured above with but a small sampling from B's latest creation: a bucket of lemonade, a Mao t-shirt, Tim the Toolman's very own Lincoln Logs (Jake can only hope that they are imbued with Tim's childhood zest for handiness and constructive pursuits!), mustard, healthy chocolate and more. Wavy's seated on my favorite item in the lot -- a lovely fish fabric that will make a perfect pillow.

A round of huzzah's to Auntie B, thanks so much!

Next up (hopefully it won't take me another three weeks to post...) a frank discussion about the birds and the bees with our Auntie Laurie, who has gotten herself engaged!

Yay! Woot!! OMG!!11PONIES!! LOL!! Wavy looks _so_ happy wearing her Great Leader t-shirt!! ...My dear K, thank you for putting up this post. I am a pretty regular reader of the blog, and it helps me feel 'in touch'- even though I am a childless curmudgeon. I hear your voice in my head while I read the 'news' and I laugh or cringe right there with you... I wish I had the equivalent tenacity to blog- even sparingly, your Letters are always worth the read. And, I am delighted to read about that minx LR-- If there's going to be a Bachelorette gathering, I'd better get the word, yo! I look forward to excessive drink/smoke/possible infractions of the law... BTW: T and I went innertubing on Monday and had a chuckle remembering the time we got you to our river-- You should def try it again! 2008 Bring the famn damily-- With all affection, lil'Momma-- S O'SX (aka Bb in SC)

Hey - your tardo friend FINALLY figured this out - and all's it took was you blogging about the Big Dude and me.
Birds & bees indeed... I can probably show you a thing or 2. (well, pictures with instructions, anyhow...)
Bre's awesome, what a great t-shirt - I miss her too.
Wavy's getting so big!
Love ya,
laurie
PS - Did you really mean it about making me a cake for my wedding?
