... and thereby hangs your tail

I am ashamed that women are so simple
To offer war where they should kneel for peace,
Or seek for rule, supremacy, and sway
When they are bound to serve, love, and obey.

--Kate, from "The Taming of the Shrew"

Hey Wavy,

Surely I'm not the only one who thinks Kate is so much more interesting before she is tamed? Bah.

Went to the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor with the work gang last night and had a grand time. Someday the two of you will be old enough to enjoy sitting crammed together in the sand with a bunch of cranky, rich white people.

It was a great show, though. True to the play, but sprinkled with visual references to Paris Hilton and Harry Potter, and a Pat Benatar dance-fest thrown in at the end. There were even snippets of Duran Duran, Kool and the Gang and the Milkshake song in the mix. Fun!

In other news, we got our first tomato this week:

It's from the Silver Fir Tree tomato plant. The Siberian tomato has a bunch of greenies waiting to happen.

I'm gonna close out this post and start a new one that deserves a post all to itself. So... here's you watering the tomatoes, and I'll see you up above in a bit:
